Week 2

This week I met with the group to shortlist the logos and color schemes for Dr. Basham to choose from. I looked at the clients' product on Amazon and how we can link their product to the website. I plan to do some research on Braintree to use for our shopping cart.

Week 2

This week, I researched how we could build a wordpress site and implement a business theme for the front end. With a 2 month timeframe, the team figured that would be more practical than trying to build up a whole new site from bottom up. We are hoping to use the information we gained to download an appropriate theme this week.

Week 2: The Search for Logos

This past week we began to create the website by creating a storyboard as to how the website should flow and what a sitemap would look like. On Tuesday Jason and I made a logo for InsectARium and finalized it on Thursday.

An interesting question arose while creating the logo: the company so far went by three names: InsectARium (the name of the product they are selling), Arium Technologies L.L.C., and Arium-3D (what we think they want...or at least they should use for their site since their new domain is under this name).

Fortunately we clarified this with Dr. Basham and will either use Arium-3D or Aruim Technologies L.L.C.

COMING NEXT WEEK: HTML IN HELL (You don't want to miss the train wreck!!!!!)***

Week 2

This week I worked with our team on the following:

  • Brainstormed and finalized new logo design prototypes
  • Secured website color scheme
  • Communicated with client to clarify additional questions and details
  • Updated OnTime

Week 2

This week, we worked on the creation of a logo for Arium3D, coming up with many design possibilities. We met multiple times this week in order to brainstorm, discuss and critique each others designs. Currently we have selected a number of different proposed logos in which to present to our Product Owner in the upcoming week.

The First Week of The Rest of My Life

The first week of Project Bugeyez has passed and a few tasks were completed.

The team collaorated on Tuesday to make create a storyboard for the website to visualize how the website will flow.

We've been researching how the color palatte of a 19th century museum will match the subjects of insects.

Jason and I will be collaborating to create a logo for Arium-3D. I expect that we will have something to show to Dr. Basham tomorrow.

We'll be meeting tomorrow to duscuss futher tasks for Sprint 1.
